Year after year, whilst tending to my flower field, I am constantly amazed and in awe of what Mother Nature delivers. The contour of the flowers and their stems, the graceful movement and their inconceivable beauty. It is a delight to be able to share this joy with my wedding couples, but this seasonal ‘home-grown’ editorial at one of my favourite local venues, working alongside some of my dear wedding industry friends, will remain an ultimate highlight.
Dip your nose into a bouquet of freshly cut British flowers, and you will be instantly enveloped in a heady concoction of fragrances, charmed by their natural beauty and fascinated by their quirky variety, the sensory overload of which is exactly what we wanted to embody within this editorial.
Each and every stem was grown by me on my flower field, including foxgloves, waterlily, nigella, roses, sweet peas, mint, poppies, honeysuckle and beech, amongst others. Our beautiful model wore a scented sweet pea flower crown and indulged in an intimate dining setting within the charming walled garden at Garthmyl Hall.
